Writing a blog reminds me of letter writing back in the day. Now you call it snail mail. Back in the day I wrote long newsy letters to all my extended family. My maternal grandmother was my favorite recipient. I wrote her long winded paragraphs full of my thoughts, dreams, and what I was suffering thru as the oldest of four. My sweet Nana read them and than corrected the spelling errors and mailed them back with her latest news. No, I wasn't insulted or mad. I expected her changes so my feelings never got hurt. After all she let me come visit every summer for a least a week and I knew she loved me.
Today we unburden ourselves online. Blogs, Facebook, Twitter and the like allow us to tell our story to everyone...everyone that cares to read what we are thinking and doing. Why anyone in Idaho would want to know that I just got out of bed baffles me but some....not me....tell all just the same.
I hope my Blog gives you insight into the life of a middle age real estate agent that has children and grand’s, a husband that loves her and a cat. I also hope that by reading this you will see that I love what I do and I love Charleston. If what I write strikes a chord great. If not that's great too. Diversity made this country great. Ooops....that’s the subject of another Blog.
