  • Spring at the Beach

    Mount Pleasant, SC....a hop, skip and a jump from the beach.  We know it's spring when the line to get to the beach on the IOP connector in the morning is moving at a snails pace and the same thing the other way at 4:30PM.  We love the tourists.  They bring a lot of $$$$ to our economy.  Personally I love to watch ...

    If you are not a parent or grand parent you may not want to read further.  But, if you are please share my pain.  Today my almost 4 year old grand daughter went back home after a week at the beach with her doting grand parents.  She didn't miss her parents for one minute....how could she we never gave her a free second to think ...

  • Charleston Humidity

    I truly enjoy living in metro Charleston, SC.  I can drive to the Atlantic Ocean in 10 minutes.  Be downtown in 20. Shop at Whole Foods in 15.  Eat at a 5 Star restaurant in 45.  BUT, many days are NOT good hair days.  The humidity here can be horrible.  I grew up outside Washington, DC so I know humidity ...
